Nadat gevind is Stander se rug is gebreek, hetKML se hoofkantoor (in Pretoria geleë) gereël dathy per helikopter na Johannesburg gebring word.

AS part of the Anglo Americanfamily, Kumba Iron Ore’s SishenMine holds very high standards forthe safety and security of itsemployees and the surroundingcommunities. Since Sishen is in aramp-up phase and grows rapidly, infrastructure in and around themine is also expanding accordingly.A new Sishen Mine entrance
parking upgrade project wasrecently registered to address thechallenge of providing suitable, covered and demarcated parkingbays for employees and contractors.“A vast number of mine employ-
ees, contractors and visitors areparking in open areas that are notdemarcated or secure, especially inrainy conditions,” says LesediMashishi, the project manager ofRamp Up. The alleviation ofcongestion currently experienced atthe main entrance during peakhours and the provision of anadequate storm water drainagesystem to ensure the maximum useof parking bays during rainyseasons are two important compo-nents the project aims to address,”he says. In addition to providingsuitable and demarcated coveredparking bays for employees, contractors and visitors, the projectscope includes measure to addressthe congestion at the main entran-ce to the mine as it cannot sustainthe traffic volumes during peaktravel hours, says Lesedi.“The increased traffic congestion
during these hours will increasethe likelihood of collisions betweenvehicles and pedestrians in thevicinity. Construction on this60 000 m² site will address theseconcerns and will improve trafficflow and safety.”The project scope includes the
following:
) the construction of a new busterminals to accommodate tenbuses;) the construction of 360 additionalparking bays with shelters;) the construction of a mountabletraffic circle with slip ways;) the provision of access points toall parking areas;) the construction of waiting areasto accommodate 13 incomingtrucks;) the provision of area illuminati-on and under-roof lighting;

meisie in dié sentrum geplant.

So gebeur dit dat my eerste en

badkamer hoor, sal eers vra of sy
geliefde daar is.Die omstandighede is verdag,
want as ’n mens in ’n veiligebehuisingskompleks woon, is diekans skraler dat daar ’n inbrekerin jou huis sal wees.Wat is reg en wat is verkeerd? Is
As ’n mens ’n alarmstelsel het,
Pistorius is ongetwyfeld ontsteld
Natuurlik is só ’n gebeurtenis vir
enigeen traumaties.Of jy nou iemand per ongeluk

wing was ’n baie betekenisvollegeleentheid.Simson beteken sonskyn. Deel
Hom toe bly altyd oop.Simson het gebid soos nog nooit
vantevore nie: “Here, my God, dinktog aan my. Maak my tog net dieeen keer sterk, o God!” Hy kon maklik as ’n swakkeling
Hy is genees engered.

Voetsorg by diabete is van kardi-nale belang.
as jy aan diabetes ly:) Ondersoek jou voete daagliks en kyk vir stuk-kende plekke of blase;) Was jou voete daagliks en droog dit goed af– veral tussen die tone;
) Spesiale rome is by apteke ver-krygbaar wat iemand met diabetesse voete bevogtig en sodoende ver-hoed dat harde velletjies afskeur ofinskeur;) Eelte moet saggies geskuur worden moenie met iets soos ’n naelknip-per gesny word nie. Bly weg vanlemmetjies om self eelte te probeer“afsny”;

THE pale red garden earthworm is often called“nature’s plough”. That’s because anearthworm pushes through soft earth with thepoint of its head. If the soil is hard, the wormeats its way through, forming interconnectedburrows. These burrows loosen the soil, admit-ting air and water and helping roots grow. Asingle acre of cultivated land may be home toas many as 500 000 earthworms.Earthworms in your gardenWhen you add nitrogen-rich compost to your
soil, you help the worms thrive. However, ad-ding synthetic nitrogen fertilizers may repelearthworms. Worms are sensitive to physicalandchemical changesandwill flee the salty con-ditions that result from an application of chemi-cal fertilizer. As an earthworm feeds, organicmatter passes through its body and is excretedas dark granular castings. You may see thesecastingpiles inyourgarden.Anearthwormpro-duces its weight in castings daily. Worm cas-
tingsareawonderful fertilizer, rich innutrientsotherwise unavailable to plants.
In cold weather, a soil search will turn up ma-ture and young earthworms as well as eggs. Bylate spring, most worms are mature. As tempe-ratures rise, activity slows; many lay eggs andthen die. By midsummer, most worms are veryyoung or protected by egg capsules. As the wea-ther cools, young worms emerge. With wet wea-ther, they grow active, making new burrowsand eating extra food, resulting in more wormcastings. Egg laying occurs again. Activity con-tinues as long as the soil stays damp.
After a heavy rain, earthworms often appearaboveground. Fresh water doesn’t disturbearthworms—they need ongoing skin moisturetobreathe—butstagnantorcontaminatedwaterforces them from their burrows.
Earthworms can survive in soil that freezesgradually, but sudden freezing can kill them.Protect earthworms against sudden freezeswith mulch which also provides worms withfood.Earthworm binsYou can raise earthworms yourself using
earthworm bins through a process called vermi-culture or earthworm composting.
Kept in a cool, dark place, a worm bin provi-des a composting system for kitchen scraps anda source of rich, fertile worm castings for thegarden.
If you don’t want to pay a lot of money for awormbin, youcanmakeyourownfromaplasticstorage bin, a modified garbage can, washtub,or wooden box. Punch small holes in the sidesof plasticwashtubsorgarbagecans foraeration.
To keep conditions moist but well drained, make a drainage area in the bottom of the bin;usearigiddivider toseparate it fromtheworms’living quarters. A loose cover keeps flies andlight out and worms and moisture in. It is bestto fill the bin with soaked coir (fibre from theouter husk of the coconut, used in potting com-post) and newspaper. Garden soil may also beadded.Make sure themix is asdampasawrung-out sponge rather than wet. Then introduce theearthworms to their new home.– Source: www.organicgardening.com

Of doen hullemeer skade as goed?
Botter verlig brand-wonde

WAAR ’n wil is, is ’n weg.Só redeneer Seun Standerd
oor sy groentetuin by Kathu sevullisterrein.
Tshimo Gardens in Kathu hetvir hom twee kruiwaens volkompos geborg.
“Ek is altyd hier,” sê hy.

Kom ek
motiveer.Pietman is nou ’n paar wekies oud. Hy is
