Biographies
Whittney Dunn, The Bar Plan Whittney Dunn is a Risk Manager at The Bar Plan Mutual Insurance Company in St. Louis, Missouri. In this role, she presents continuing legal education courses throughout the state and nation on ethics, professionalism, and malpractice avoidance and provides one-on-one ethics guidance and law practice management assistance to attorneys in Missouri and beyond. Dunn also serves the legal community in numerous leadership roles in local, state, and national bar associations, including a stint as the Chair of the ABA Young Lawyers Division Ethics & Professional Responsibility Committee and serving in an on-going role as a St. Louis County representative on the Missouri Bar Young Lawyers Section Council. Dunn is a double alumna of the University of Missouri in Columbia, where she received a J.D. and a Bachelor of Journalism degree.
Charnissa Holliday-Scott, Kansas City Public Schools Ms. Holliday-Scott, Director of Education Systems for the Kansas City Public Schools, is a graduate of University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. Ms. Holliday-Scott’s work focuses on facilitating and negotiating education collaboration projects and oversees district charter school sponsorship. During her time in private practice, the former law partner’s work focused on Education Law, Insurance Defense, and General Liability Defense. Ms. Holliday-Scott is active with The Missouri Bar; the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA); Council of School Attorneys (COSA), and the Jackson County Bar Association (JCBA). She also volunteers legal services through the Volunteer Attorney Project of Legal Aid of Western Missouri.
Ms. Holliday-Scott was named a SuperLawyers Rising Star in 2017, 2018, and 2019. She has presented in CLE seminars for KCMBA, UMKC, and the Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy. She was a member of the 2013-14 Missouri Bar Leadership Academy Class and served as a Consultant to Missouri Administrative Hearing Commission regarding IDEA Claims. Currently, Ms. Holliday-Scott serves on the Board of Directors of the University of Missouri-Kansas City Law Foundation, the Missouri Public Charter School Association, and as a member of the Kansas City Health Commission Education Committee. From 2015-2019 she served on the Board of the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers.
Kevin M. Johnson, Wallace Saunders A friend of business large and small, Kevin Johnson focuses his practice to best serve his clients’ specific needs. Committing his practice solely to the representation of employers, self-insured employers, governmental entities, insurance companies and pools in workers’ compensation claims, Kevin is better able to meet the needs of his clients with the entirety of his practice focused on one specific realm. Kevin is a practicing partner with Wallace Saunders and a member of the Workers’ Compensation and Employment Practice Groups. He constantly pushes himself to gain even more knowledge in employer representation.
