KCT is a Syrian establishment was formed by Mr. Mouhamad Resslan Al Khayyat. Ever since it started operating in 1983, KCT has grown to assume a leading role in the field of construction for the quality and timely completion of its projects.

KCT is classified by the Ministry of Housing & Construction in Syrian Arab Republic as an “A” class contractor in the field of construction of all types of projects and all related components such as roads, bridges, buildings, water & sewage and electromechanical works.

KCT through its Projects Department involved in the General Constructions & Turne Key Projects; commercial and educational buildings, Residential complexes, bridges, industrial buildings, which include site development, infrastructure and utilities all types of construction, structural works, plant infrastructural civil works, and surveying services. i.e; KCT executes all civil, mechanical, electrical, sanitary, telecommunication, renovation, beautification works.

It is a division for producing all types of mixed concrete with its all forms (normal, resistant, cast….etc) and cement products (edges, tiles, bricks and interlock) which we produce automatically.Khayyat Contracting & Trading has established several mixing plants throughout Damascus and Damascus countryside besides the movable ones in order to provide the demands of its projects and to provide a part of the local market demands. Moreover, these weighted mixing plants are equipped with the latest technologies and automated systems by computer which meet the highest international quality standards and with total production capacity exceeded 3800 m3/day. This division is also equipped with wide range of modern and developed machines which ensure the proper work flow without any hindrance, delay or without any delay towards the customers under all circumstances and at all sites. It also includes the capability to meet the demands in quantities without delay.

Since the evolution of this division and in order to satisfy customers and maintain their great confidence in the Establishment, Khayyat Contracting & Trading has established a laboratory to control and monitor quality. This laboratory was equipped with the latest international test equipments of high reliability. These tests include:

• Test the granules grades of supplies through screens ASTM C136.• Test measurement and chemical analysis for very fine substances and which pass through

screens (200) micron 75- C117 ASTMN.• Test the qualitative weight and pebbles and sand absorption ASTM C127/C128.• Chemical tests to define impurities in sand ASTM C40.• Los Angles Test to define pebbles resistance (anti-collision).

The laboratory controls quality also by designing concrete mixtures through the most modern programs in this regard and it compares it to the reality. The laboratory monitors mixtures produced daily through some field tests and other internal laboratorial ones regularly and continuously. The most important advantages to deal with "Mixed Concrete and Cement Product" Division in Khayyat Contracting & Trading are:

1- Accurate appointments schedule strictly applied as the company ensure an administrative system and excellent organizational structure in addition to several vehicles and three mixing machines distributed around Damascus to allow it to regulate long and accurate appointments schedules without any problems or delay in delivery date and casting.

2- Excellent quality for the mixed concrete for several reasons; most importantly:

-All permitted materials are of all types of sand, granules and cement types, which is excellent raw materials as the company adopts high standards to buy these materials, even if it is from remote sources and with additional cost for transport and loading because the aim is to have best quality types and brands to realize the best quality of mixed concrete in addition to a set of additives to the mixtures to give it high and excellent resistance as per the minimum limit of the Syrian Arab code.
