Care Co-ordinator – West Bridgeford Kelly Ayre Meet Kelly, your Care Co-ordinator for West Bridgeford About me Hi I’m Kelly and my role within Helping Hands is Care Co-ordinator for West Bridgeford. My main responsibilities are to make sure that I do the rotas in an efficient way making sure the customer and carers have continuity. I also conduct business meetings if my Branch Manager is on annual leave and finally I conduct interviews for recruiting new staff. Experience Before joining Helping Hands, I worked for another care company as an hourly carer, then moved on to be a prevention and enablement worker working with the NHS to assist with hospital charges then providing interim care that was within the same company. My responsibilities were to carry out assessments, and running the on call system and co-ordinating with staff with their rotas. Why I chose Helping Hands I decided to join Helping Hands as I had heard that they are a family based company and they will go the extra mile with their staff and encourage progression in your role. In a previous job I worked with my Branch Manager where she was care co-ordinator and I was a carer. I know with both of our skills we could work well together and help our branch grow. I am very passionate about the services we provide, going that little bit extra from the start. I am very proud of the team of carer at my branch as they have great relationships with their permanent. Qualifications I have an NVQ in Business Studies, I have an NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care
