Mission StatementKey Club is an international student­ledorganization (sponsored by KiwanisInternational) which provides its memberswith opportunities to provide service, buildcharacter, and develop leadership.VisionWe are caring and competent servant leaderstransforming communities worldwide.

Key Club International is a self­governing, student­ledorganization. Each year, Key Club members elect their studentofficers at club, district, and international levels during clubmeetings and district and international conventions.Key Club members receive guidance and support from adultvolunteers, including Kiwanis advisors (Mr. Dennis Long is ourKiwanis advisor), faculty advisors, and other volunteers (KristinaKarbula will be helping to advise us this year).

StructureIndividual Key Clubs belong to divisions, which belong todistricts, which comprise Key Club International.DistrictsThere are 33 organized districts. Each district, normallydefined by state or nation, tends to match a similar Kiwanisdistrict and is led by a governor, who is elected by delegatesat the annual district convention (which club members areencouraged to attend). Our district is Ohio.DivisionsDistricts are divided into divisions and each division has alieutenant governor­ a student leader who carries out thedistrict’s policies and provides support to the clubs. We areDivision 11, and our Lieutenant Governor's name is AlexRobinson from Mount Vernon High School.

To Become a MemberCome to the first meeting on Thursday,September the 13th in Room 204 at 7 amFill out the new member information sheetwhich will be passed out at the first meetingPay the $13 dues to Treasurer Adam Rinehartby the date set by him, which will be beforeNovember 1st What To ExpectMeetings will be held every other Thursday at7am in room 204 unless otherwise notedUpdates and reminders will be posted in themonthly bulletin, through text message, and thegroup on Facebook (this should be checkedfrequently as it will be the main form ofcommunication)All members are expected to attend everymeeting and every event and activity.
