Middle Mathematics Task 1: Number Warm Up Using the hundreds chart, count forwards as high as you can! What number comes after the number 5? 13? 22? What number comes before the number 8? 17? 24? Task 2: TEN Watch the pre-recorded video on adding numbers together using playing cards. You can access playing cards online via this link if you do not have playing cards at home. https://deck.of.cards Activity: Turn over one card and then flip it back over. Flip over another card and then visualise the concealed card. Add the two numbers together to find the total count.

1. Complete the dot to dot worksheet. Make sure you start at number one and follow the numbers in order up to 20.

2. Write the numbers 1 – 20 on small pieces of paper and put them back in order!

Task 2: TEN game Using the pre-recorded TEN activity video from Monday, complete this activity for 10 minutes. Task 3: Duration of Activities Think about how long some everyday activities take. Does it take a long time to brush your teeth? Does it take a short amount of time to make your bed? On the worksheet colour one image out of each pair that takes the longest.

• Brainstorm different things that we do to keep ourselves healthy (eating good food, exercising, being sun safe etc).

• Discuss the concept of hygiene – things we do to keep us healthy and clean. (eg. Brushing teeth, showering, washing hair etc).

Visual Arts 1. Create the ‘ANZAC Day’

artwork. Watch the pre-recorded video for step-by-step instructions. An adult will need to assist you with cutting!

• Draw as many pictures as you can of how you help other people. They can be people in your family, in your class, in your street or in your town.
