Acelin told everyone that he has a grey car that can move very fast.

Lorraine shared with her friends that Frozen is her favourite cartoon.

Josiah demonstrated how to fix and stack the car on his car trailer.

Christy and Cassidy compared their animal soft toys and identified some of their similarities and differences.

Joshua brought a toy bird that moves and pecks when it’s knob is turned.

Katherine demonstrated the use of the umbrella that she took from her mother’s car.


Fun & Movement

Mass Activity

The children played a modified version of the game ‘Blow Wind Blow’.

Instead of exchanging spaces with one another,

the children will run towards the hoops in the middle and balance on one foot.

This activity encourages the children to listen to the instruction given and respond appropriately.


Love 1 & 2

The Love children were tasked to run between the barriers without slowing down.

Through it they can learn to gauge distance and cultivate spatial awareness.


Love 1, Love 2, & Joy

A ball is hung above the children’s outstretched hands.

They were then encouraged to bend their knees and jump to hit the ball.


Peace

The skill to jump for distance aids in assessing a child’s ability

to co-ordinate the movement of their arms and legs.

It is essential that the children practise landing safely with both feet,

by bending ankles, knees and hips as it helps to absorb impact on landing.

Standing in a row, the Peace children took turns to jump, observing each other.

We made a ME puppet with movable head, hands and legs.
