Soziales Netzwerk GSI
Gesellschaftliche Spannungsfelder der Informatik findet im Grundstudium statt.Es wurden fast doppelt so viele Kommentare geschrieben wie in IID, davon fast die Hälfte während Vorlesungen.Studierende waren weniger vernetzt und haben weniger Abgaben gemeinsam bearbeitet.
Soziales Netzwerk IID
Interface und Interaction Design ist
eine höhersemestrige Lehrveranstaltung.
Studierende waren stark vernetzt und haben enger
zusammengearbeitet als in GSI.Auswertungen haben gezeigt, dass
besser vernetzte Studierende bessere Ergebnisse geliefert
haben.
Problemstellung
Am IGW wurde ein Projekt entwickelt, das Studierenden die Möglichkeit gibt, ihre mobilen Endgeräte in Vorlesungen sinnvoll einzusetzen. Das Projekt wurde mit einigen Social Software Elementen erweitert. Diese sollen analysiert
werden, um herauszufinden, ob sie den Studienerfolg der Studierenden verbessern.

ENTWURF
Das System wurde während, zwischen und nach Vorlesungen verwendet. Regelmäßig wurden neue Features und Änderungen online gestellt, und von Studierenden eingesetzt.Bei wöchentlichen Treffen wurden Ideen diskutiert und auf ihre Umsetzbarkeit überprüft. Einige Testdesigns und Prototypen wurden erstellt und ein ungefährer Zeitplan für die Umsetzung festgelegt.In Testläufen bekamen KollegInnen und Studierende Aufgabenstellungen, anhand derer alle Aspekte der Features getestet wurden. Studierende konnten Feedback geben und wurden zu ihren Erfahrungen interviewt.
Entwicklung des Systems
Das Dashboard ist eine Überblicksseite, die Studierende über kommende Termine und
Tätigkeiten im System informiert. Der Newsfeed dient zur Kommunikation und
Klärung von Fragen, sowie zur Behandlung inhaltlicher Themen.
Im Slidecasting können Studierende Mitschriften und Fragen zur Vorlesung
schreiben, Kommentare ihrer Mitstudierenden lesen und darauf reagieren.
Das Portfolio ist das Abgabe- und Bewertungssystem.
Im Discuss können Diskussionen zu Themen der Lehrveranstaltung geführt
werden.
