Kverneland Accord Pneumatic seed drills from 2.5 to 12m

The central, totally enclosed cell wheel of the metering device accurately measures the required volume of seed discharges it into the venturi cone.

1Here the seed is mixed with the air stream and then conveyed through the diffuser tube in the distributor.2

From the distribution head the seed is conveyed, after the random principle, through the seed delivery hoses to the coulters.3

• Any desired seed rate from 2 - 380 kg/ha (cereals, peas, beans, rape, grass etc.) can be metered.

• Only 1 metering device is required for up to 40 coulters.

• Differences in metering accuracy are +/- 1% for diagonal and length wise inclination (F.A.T. CH (University of Switzerland)).

• Due to the conical hopper design sowing is possible up to residual quantities of only 500 g.

• The adjustment from normal seed to fine seed (e.g. rape) is easily done without any need for tools (no special insert for beans necessary).

• Seed return to the hopper:

• Combi Valves allow the seed from the closed track during tramlining to be returned to the seed hopper. Even when the hopper is full.

• Edge row effect:

• The seed from the blocked valve is distributed to the adjacent rows

It is possible to combine both types of valve to achieve edge row effect and seed return.
