Kyampasas are small, brownish, centipede like humanoids with four arms
(they use the combined strength from each arm as one), antennae, and bulbous, compound eyes. Their flat, segmented bodies are supported at the lower halfby adozen or more tiny legs. All kyampasas have large mandibles, under which lies a verycomplex mouth. Young kyampasas are born from eggs, tiny and very able. There is nophysical difference between Males and Females, although Kympasas can tell thedifference by smell. Kympasas are alien in mindset to mammalian and reptilianhumans, although Thri-Kreen can identify with them. They are usually friendly tostrangers, and often ask for nothing in return for services rendered. Kympasassometimes seem oddly clingy; standing a little to close to people, speaking as closeto someone’s ears (they see them as Sphericals, an arthropod‘s equivalent to a nose)or touching things rather left undisturbed. Kympasas are animistic and worship noparticular god, instead, they venerate spirits of nature and ancestors. Kympasasusually live in cities and other urban regions, where they live amongst humans and
try to integrate in their culture as best they can. Kympasas are slow to anger, probably because they simply do not understand insults or affronts. However, theydetest being called Vermin, and calling a Kympasas a vermin is a quick way to findpoison in one’s drink. Kympasas speak Sylvan in clicks and hisses, but speak otherlanguages in a drawn out, over-the top manner. They are usually Neutral Good.
