TUTORIAL: Adobe Spark Social Media “Teaser” Video
Step 1: Story map your video ideaTheme:Video that features the benefits of buying from or working with your mock company. This is not a direct-sales message. You want to tell a story about your company or a product/service, the problems or challenges it solves for your customers, and how your organization can solve this challenge.
Outline:• Topic: Decide on the focus for your video. What is it about?
• Setting: Where does the story take place? What can you visually attach to this story?
• Problem: What is the challenge or problem you are addressing for your target audience?
• What could be: Describe a better world where this challenge does not exist
• Solution: Share how your company or product can solve the problem
• Reward: How will the target audience or customer’s life improve if they use this service or product?
• Call to action: What should the customer do to learn more or take a specific action?
• Credits: Include any citations or artwork credits
NOTE! During this stage you should also consider visuals and whether or not you need to collect royalty-free images or video clips. Some free resources are available from Adobe as well.

Call to ActionCome in to the store to meet with a consultant, discuss budget and goals, look at options for pots, plants, and flowers, and walk away with everything they need to make the vision come to life.
Step 2: Sign in to spark.adobe.com with your personal Adobe IDIf you do not have an Adobe ID – select “Start Now” to create one
Step 3: Select Create a Project > View all
Step 4: Select or search for “Teaser Video”
Step 5: Give it a title > Next
Step 6: Select the “Promote an Idea” Template > Pick this oneSuggested: View video overview > select “Ok, I’m ready” when done
Step 8: Decide on Layout & Theme (do not adjust size)
Notes:
• You can adjust the Layout for each frame
• Choose one Theme for the overall video.
• Color and font selection is limited so select one that is closest to your mock company brand.
Step 9: Begin populating each frame with video, text, photo, or iconNotes
• Video must be imported
• Photos: You can upload a photo, search free images, or upload from Lightroom, Dropbox, or Google
• You can add your company logo but size and placement will be limited based on the template
• Icons cab be added from Creative Commons
Step 10: Preview, add music, adjust as needed
Notes
• Select music from Adobe Spark (suggested)
• You CANNOT add music that you do not have permission rights to so please do not upload any licensed tracks you did not create yourself or do not have in-writing permission to use.
• Final video should not exceed :30
Final Step: Turn it in
Once approved by the instructor you can share it on your mock company social channels!
