screened and cleared before the decontamination

starts.

Identify chemicals used, as well as what lab was used for.

Determine the surface cleaner for each decontamination.

Insure all hazards are removed.

To determine the correct cleaner to use, refer to your

list of active chemicals used.

Radiation areas need to be

screened and sampled for gamma

x-rays, beta, and alpha radiation

Step Three
