CONTROL
Compensating for the differences in
timing between the supply and demand
of material resources
Inventory is created to compensate for the differences in timing between supply and
demand

Lager / inventory
Teoretiska lagertyper
• Buffer inventory/safety inventory (säkerställer kontinuerlig drift)

serier)
Nackdelar
• Obsolesens
• Inkurans
• ”Svarta hålet”
• Säkerhetsrisker
• Tar plats
• Effektiv lagerhantering kostar pengar!
• …och så naturligtvis kapitalbindningen…

• Stororderrabatter
• Bristsärkostnad
• Kapitalbindningskostnad
• Lagringskostnad
• Obsolesenskostnad
• Ineffektivitetskostnad

Inventory classifications and measures
Class A items - the 20% or so of high-value items which account for around 80% of the total stock value
Class B items - the next 30% or so of medium-value items which account for around 10% of the total stock value
Class C items - the remaining 50% or so of low-value items which account for around the last 10% of the total stock value

Partiformning: Hur mycket skall vi producera i taget?
Traditionell logik
A B
Plan A (genomsnittslager 200 enheter)
Ny logik• Ställarbetet kan och skall minimeras!
• Lagerhållningskostnaden är avsevärd!
• Bristsärkostnader beror mer på långsam kundorderstyrning än bristen på FVL
=> Optimal partistorlek är 1 enhet!

Slutsatser
Traditionell syn
Ny syn
• Lager behövs – i undantagsfall
