LENZIE CLUSTER IMPROVEMENT PLAN
2014-2017
Session 2015-16 Lenzie Academy is part of a cluster group of learning including Auchinloch Primary, Lairdsland Primary, Lenzie Primary and Nursery Class, Lenzie Moss Primary and Millersneuk Primary. Staff and pupils work together in a variety of ways to enhance learning and to ensure pupils at all stages are challenged to achieve of their best. Staff working groups across the cluster have made significant progress in the areas of Literacy, Science, Maths. Their enthusiasm and commitment have had a positive impact on the children and young peoples’ learning experiences. A management group comprising of Primary Head Teachers and Lenzie Academy Depute Head Teacher meets regularly to discuss areas identified by pupils, parents and staff which are taken forward through our cluster improvement plan. Rigorous and systematic planning procedures are in place to ensure children have a smooth transition from pre 5 to primary and from primary to secondary school. Parents and carers are informed and involved and their views and the views of their children help shape our work. The information

outlined below outlines our areas for development in session 2015-16. Our focus is on that of partnership working, building capacity in our staff with the key themes of transition and quality assurance through moderation permeating all areas.
