About Hotel and other prestigious internationalhotels. It’s going to be the biggest agorà-eventorganized in the city so far, due to its great andsensitive value. An Agorà has been planned duringthe event, which aim is to become a concrete place totalk and to meet international key players of thisfield. The focus of these meetings is to discuss andexamine the business process of this developingbranch. Prominent occurence is also Din - Design In, eventorganized by Promotedesign.it that has now reachedits 6 edition and takes place in a strategic locationlocated in via Massimiano 6 / via Sbodio 9. In the former hangar of 2,000 square meters, templeof international creativity, you’ll have the chance toenjoy the products of designers, companies, schools,organizations and worldwide famous architechts.Promotedesign.it has the primary goal of putting incontact and attracting the interest of the design-producers and buyers, making them aware of theincreasing creativity offer. Every year variouscollateral events are created, like the TemporaryShop area in which Artistarjewels.com isreconfirmed after last year’s success. It will bepossible to buy creative pieces of contemporaryjewelry, that are going to be the perfect element thatmakes your outfit unique.

The events will not be over at 8pm when the gates ofthe hangar will be closed: WEating, located in theinner yard of Din – Design InandStreet FoodExperience at Giardino Ventura,will take place.It’s agreat chance to hang out until late night to deeplylive the energy of the district.

WEating,located in the inner yard of Din – Design In,presents a selection of Food Trucks in a dedicatedspace set up as an event in the event. Commondenominator between the two entities is the passionfor the taste, for the earth and its products but aboveall the exemplary attention on the appearance,that represents a bridge between these twoexhibitions. Lambrate Design District wants to makeof these excellences its strength, providing thevisitors with an emotional experience, full of culturalentertaining sparks. This will not only support thedesign event, but it will also complete the wholeexperience.

Weating

Street Food Experience, located at Giardino Ventura,becomes a gourmet garden, a unique sensorialexperience that providessmell, colours and tastes ofthe finestStreet Food, withcoordinatedappointmentsduring the whole day. Focus of the event is the highquality street food, with food trucks that will beoffering the best Italian and international food, withthe latest trends about food and design. There will bethe chance to see masterclasses by startups in thisfield and show cooking held by prestigious guests,whose aim is to share with the visitors the bestknowledge of Italian food. Barmans and internationaldjs will finally entertain the guests from Happy Houruntil late night.

permanently in the locations that hosted them duringthe Milan Design Week of 2016, recovering a formerhangar of 1,200 square meters in the heart of theLambrate District, on via Sbodio 30. Osteria Milano will be a reference point for thewhole city: a meeting point, with a music schedulefor the entire week, thanks to selected performances,concerts and Dj set. For the 2018 edition, products will be shown in therestaurant and in the yard area, where the visitorswill also cherish live art performances, providing theentire district with original and alternative contents.

Again re-confirmed another mainstay of theLambrate area: FUORISALMONE. Since only the dead fishes follow the flow, this eventshows us a network made by experts andentrepreneurs that swim against the flow. An activenetwork that creates connections between creativityand designers, the excellence of the companies, thepotentials of the products and the market resources.During the Design Week, FUORISALMONE presentsfor its 5 edition a solid project oriented at experts ofthis field. Located in the lofts of via Massimiano 25,the event offers real business opportunities andinteractions between experts and businessmen.

A new space has been added at this rich list of events,during the 2018 edition of the Milan Design Week. Weare talking about Spazio Donno with his 700 squaremeters space in via Conte Rosso 36. Stefano Epis, founder of DesignCircus, selects fewitalian and international designers for an innovativeand contemporary event. In this location, full ofcharme and unique details, the designers will exhibittheir products and projects about house automation.

Studio CR34

STUDIO CR34, an interior and product design studiofounded this year in Milan, is also organizing anevent for the Fuorisalone. Studio CR34, located in viaConte Rosso 34, boasts already many collaborationswith famous international architects. More detailswill be released about this specific event in thefollowing months, but we can reveal that Roberto DiStefano and Ettore Vincentelli are organizing aspecial visit to their location for all the visitors of thedesign district.

The Mohole School, located in via Ventura 5, is ofcourse joining as well the events of the district: thereare going to be a lot of initiatives for the whole week. They are part of the end of the trimester’s festival –the Nothing Days – that consists in exhibitioin,projections, performances and reportage (pictures,videos, articles for Wild Factory) made by thestudents of the 8 departments (filmmaking, acting, 3Danimation, graphic design, filmography, storytelling,comics and web). Workshops and labs are being updated to the list,opening the doors of the school to the visitors ofFuorisalone. The week will end on Saturday the 21of April with an Open Day of the school. The great dynamism of these events makes the heartof the Lambrate Design District pulsating andinvolving. The organizations of the district are in constantcooperation to give their visitors a unique andunforgettable experience and the list of the events istherefore being updated every day. The traditional conferences, awards and workshopsthat began during the Fall design Week 2017 are notgoing to be left out. We ‘ll keep updated the schedule of the events and allthe news will be released in the next weeks.

The district is a unmissabledestination for all the enthusiasts and design expertsthat are going to visit the Fuorisalone: 120,000 peoplehave indeed visited the north-east area of themetropolitan city of Milan. Defined as the new ItalianBrooklyn, Lambrate isolates us from the urban chaos,taking us in a place that smells like ideas newness,where thoughts can bloom. The Milan Design Week 2018 will take place fromthe 17th until the 22nd of April and there arealready a lot of events confirmed in the area betweenvia Massimiano, via Ventura and via Conte Rosso. Infact, this is just a preview of all the events that aregoing to enliven the district. News will be released inthe following weeks.

Pillar of the 2018 is the architect Simone Micheli(http://www.simonemicheli.com/), one of the maincharacters of the dynamic district in the previousyears as well. Micheli will create Hotel Regenerationand the event will take place at Officina Ventura, in alocation of 4,000 square meters. It’s going to be acompletely experimental exhibition, whose focus isthe retraining process of the contemporary hotelfacilities and its future existence, promoting thecommon aim and the research aimed at giving valueto the technologic development.
