DESCRIPTION
Lauretta Travis moved to Atlanta in the mid-80s (when she was in her 50s) and since she didn't know anyone there she created a family by informally adopting a multiethnic group of young adults she called her "Chosen Children." Luckily her biological son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren were gracious and friendly to this extended family. In this photo Lauretta is surrounded by her girls. In front: Rosa, Angela & Allison.
