Complete required fields, 1, 2, & 3. After you click Register you will receive an email to activate your account.

Click the link to activate your LAUSD Account.

Accept the LAUSD Acceptable Use Policy Agreement by clicking the Accept button at the bottom of the page.

Create a password for your LAUSD Parent Account. Then click the Submit button.

This message will automatically pop-up, reminding users that they need to complete a Parent Profile which

includes information about each child before you can proceed to the eChoices application.

Complete the required Parent Profile information.

Then click the Add a Student button to complete student profile(s).

Complete the required information in the New Student Profile text box.

Once complete, click the Add New Student button.

Click on your child’s name to update his/her profile.

Using the dropdown window, select the program you’d like to apply for.

Complete the eChoices application and click Submit. Make sure to read all the terms and conditions associated

with the eChoices application.

Once you’ve submitted your child’s application, you can click the View/Edit button to edit your application or

check the status of your submission at any point in time during the application period.

Once you’ve submitted your application you will receive a confirmation number which is listed in red at the top

of the screen.

On this page you can both print your Application Confirmation form and return to the Parent Profile page to

submit a new application.

The above navigation bar includes information on how to apply for a number of different school choice

processes offered by LAUSD. In addition to searching for schools that are within your neighborhood and/or

provide a focus that is of interest to you and your child.
