Message from the Lead Pastor...

Dear Friends,

Years ago, Annabelle and I said yes to follow and serve God. Since then, He faithfully led us, until we reached Sta. Rosa, Laguna. He gave us the heart to pioneer a Christian community in the city who will love God with all of their hearts, minds and strength. Furthermore to raise a church family who will love others as they want to be loved

themselves.

As we yield to God’s leading, we witnessed how He drew people to walk with us thus we do not do the work on our own. People with different background, orientation and age have contributed in various ways so that Lighthouse Christian Community become what it is today. The church had been through times of struggles, challenges, transitions and movements. However, it was the collective effort of the committed leaders that help us to continue it up to this time. We are forever grateful to everyone who has been a

channel of God’s support to our ministry in one way or another.

This e-magazine hopes to give you an overview of what we do and how we hope to accomplish the mission God has given us. If you are a part of Lighthouse-Sta. Rosa family, the pages here will surely bring you good memories of how God worked in our

midst in many occasions.

Be blessed as you flip the pages.

This is an offering of praise to God who called us and enable us.

In Him,

Ptr. Manix & Annabelle

Our Vision...

Our Mission...

The towering lighthouse stands as a symbol of security to all who sees it. Day and night it doesn’t move from its imposing position, it stands as a firm fortress of

strength and beacon of light. It keeps vigil under sunny skies and through daunting storms.

Those passing ships faces many uncertainties but no matter what the circumstances are, lighthouse stands its ground. Its strong beam of light is one sure thing on which

the ship crew can depend.

What a wonderful methaphor for the church! That is why we chose “Lighthouse” for our name. We aspire to be a beacon of light to those who are aimlessly

wandering in the dark. We intend to be a sure refuge to those who’s undergoing uncertainties and troubles.

We are called to be a Lighthouse of Loving Community and a Storehouse of Enriching Ministry for the Harvest of Sta.Rosa and beyond.

Here in Lighthouse, we are precisely aware that there is Heaven and there is Hell

and one day all of us will face God and receive His judgment as to where we will

spend eternity. Thus, we make every effort to reach out to people and to remind them that“... God so loved the world that He gave His

Son (Jesus’ death on the cross) so that whoever believes (faith) in Him, will not

perish (Hell), but have eternal life (Heaven).”

VANGELIZE

E the lost, the poor and the hurting, through the gospel of Jesus Christ. E

Those who decided to follow Christ can attest to the trueness of this quotation. It is

one thing to put your faith in Jesus, it is another thing to keep on believing, knowing and following Him as a true disciple of Jesus

Christ. Lighthouse family is fully committed to support those who are willing to go through the process of discipleship in the context of friendships and mentoring.

We are ready to laugh, cry, pray, seek counsel, to strive and to be with you in facing the

different phases of your life. Most importantly, we want to help you to appreciate, enjoy, acquire knowledge, obtain wisdom and discover the

practical application of the Bible. Consequently, you will experience the wonderful miracle of a

“changed life”.

“Madaling maging Krist iyano, Mahirap magpakakrist iyano.”

NCOURAGE E believers through caring and discipling Community

Lighthouse ministry is being carried out by our passionate, hardworking and

dedicated servant-leaders. Most of them were once apprehensive and uncertain of themselves.

Nevertheless, they were trained, mentored, exposed to different people doing various activities and they became

confidently productive leaders.

E Our children and young people are

overflowing with immense potentials. Therefore, we design our programs to ensure that

both ministries will be creative and holistic. Additionally, they are guided personally, moulded

individually and coached diligently. Moreover the ministry will educate them to

pursue excellence in any fields and endeavour that God will place them.

What could be more soul refreshing than to bask in the presence of our loving God together

with our church family. Sunday is the much awaited day for those who know the significance

of worship and fellowship. In our worship service the support

ministries such as music, media ushers andexhorters worked together to have inspirational,

invigorating and meaningful worship experience.

Some of our dear have gone overseas to the different parts of the world. Where ever they are, they let their light shine where

God has brought them. They are blessing the nations in their small ways.

Praise God that despite being miles away, they are still a very much part of us - supporting us in many ways.
