Coaching is defined as a collaborative personalized process that facilitates new thinking to cause positive change. As a situational leadership competency participants will discover where coaching fits into their leadership landscape; learn and use some key learning tools and dive deeply into the core coaching communication skills of listening completely and of speaking with clarity – including the 5 core elements of speaking. Participants then learn and practice effective structures for conversations; goal setting best practice; and learn and apply some processes of change; understand and work with simple neuroscience; understand and practice how to develop self-awareness: and the neuroscience to support all this learning. Participants learn how to use coaching both with teams and individuals. The programme is delivered in two days of face to face learning plus three 1 hour virtual meetings over the following 6 weeks. There are 3 hours of practical assignments outside of the classroom. Erik van den Top Erik is a highly experienced leadership coach, trainer and facilitator. He has worked in the leadership, organisational development and personal development fields for 25 years. In private practice since 2001.

Erik has a relentless passion for inspiring, enabling and empowering

organisations, people and communities to generate positive change. He is an ICF Associate Certified Coach, a certified Leadership Circle Coach, an accredited R2 Strengths Profiler practitioner and certified PRINT coach.

Andy Britton Andy was a PwC audit partner for 16 years, where he was extensively involved in developing PwC NZ’s coaching culture.

Here Andy recognised the power and importance of Coaching for increasing employee productivity and client engagement success. Andy

specialises in professional mentoring, executive coaching and training - consulting with large private and public sector businesses in both New Zealand and Australia. He has served as Chair to several NFP Boards.

Andy is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), a member of the Institute of Directors and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) - International Coaching Federation.

Leading with Impact offers coaching conversation skills for coaches and leaders. This 2 day programme increases your understanding + grows your leadership awareness and skillset. Leading Teams is a great next step! This programme offers core understandings of how High Performing Teams look and HOW they work in practice. Here you can build your self-awareness and your capabilities as a leader and as a coach.

This Leadership Curriculum supports your development in a multi-cultural VUCA world - building high quality relationships at work with O.P.E.N and understanding your individual team member’s motivations with S.H.A.P.E.
