LeBron Raymone James was born to Gloria Marie James. A 16 year old single mother. Growing up life was a struggle for LeBron as he moved from apartment to

apartment to worse neighborhoods in Akron as Gloria struggled to find steady work. Gloria knew he would better off with a more stable environment, so she

allowed him to move in with the family Frank Walker, a local youth football coach, who introduced him to basketball at the age of nine. As a youth James played

Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball for the Northeast Ohio Shooting Stars. Led by James and his friends Dru Joyce III, Sian Cotton, and Willie Mcgee they made

themselves inseparable and named themselves the “Fab Four” and promised each other they would go to the same high school.
