Blackwells and LUU Table TennisCommon Facts 

• Leeds Table Tennis society has 100 members in. Members come from all different courses. They train 4 times a week and play matches weekly on a Wednesday afternoon. They also play some one-off weekend tournaments throughout the year.

• Blackwells is a British academic book retailer, with over 40 stores across the UK – two of which are in Leeds. They aim to recruit around 5 graduates from Leeds University every year, and are keen to work with societies to increase their sales revenue. They always want the best and they therefore target clubs for the graduate level skills that come with being a club/society member.

Clauses to consider• Auto-renew? When does the contract end.• If it seems to good to be true- it probably is.• Have you read and understood the whole

document?• If you’re not sure, check with the provider and get

it in writing. • Check your handover for previous liabilities• Think carefully about what you can deliver.• Does this conflict with other commitments?• Keep copies and think about what happens after

you leave.
