THE ANIMAL DISEASES ACT

(Cap. 364)

FEES AND PAYMENTS

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Animal Diseases Act, the Director of Veterinary Services hereby amends the Fees and Payments prescribed under the said section by substituting therefor the following new Schedules: —

FIRST SCHEDULE

FIFTH SCHEDULE CHARGES FOR THE VACCINATION OF CATTLE AGAINST FOOT-AND-MOUTH DISEASE IN ANY COMPULSORY FOOT-AND-MOUTH DISEASE VACCINATION

AREA

The fees specified in this Schedule shall be paid to the Director of Veterinary Services by the owner of the animals in respect of which the services have been rendered, whether or not such services have been rendered at the request of the owner.

Sh. cts. 1. Vaccination against types 0 or A when such vaccination is

carried out at the discretion of the Director of Veterinary Services and at such time and place as pre-arranged by the Department .. Free

2. Vaccination with Bivalent, Trivalent or Quadrivalent vaccine, where such vaccination is carried out at the time and place as pre-arranged according to a programme laid down by the Veterinary Department, per head .. 2 00

3. (a) Vaccine supplied or used at any time other than in the course of a pre-arranged vaccination campaign will be charged for at the same rates as laid down in the Fourth Schedule to this Notice.

(b) This paragraph shall apply to all cattle not presented for inoculation at the time and place laid down by the Veterinary Department.

Legal Notice No. 149 of 1967, No. 65 of 1970, No. 204 of 1971, No. 145 of 1972 and No. 108 of 1973 are hereby cancelled.
