View this email in your browser FEBRUARY 20 Lent has arrived! Seems like we just cleared the Christmas decorations out of the sanctuary, but Lent is here. It begins Ash Wednesday - that's Wednesday, February 26 - with two services at noon and 7 p.m. We hope you will make time for one of these special services where the application of ashes will be offered. And, of course, with Lent comes a Lehman tradition - the Lehman Lenten Luncheons. They will begin Thursday, February 27 at noon and continue each Thursday during Lent. The soup and sandwich lunch is $5 but the lecture is free. These are popular for good reason - they will enrich your Lenten experience while you enjoy a tasty lunch and warm fellowship. The theme is embracing the uncertain. This year’s Lenten study will center on Max Lucado’s “Six Hours One Friday: Living in the Power of the Cross.” Pastor Nancy will lead a study Monday mornings at 9:30. Pastor Andy will lead two studies, every other Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Melinda Krpata will lead a study each Sunday after the 9:30 a.m. service. You can r each out to the church office. This year’s Lenten theme will be “Journey of Stones.” Each week, we will be challenged to give up our stones and live for Christ. Subscribe Past Issues Translate
