Shapes and Patterns– Pupils will learn how to draw and classify basic shapes.

greater quantity. The words ‘less’ and ‘fewer’ refer to a lower

quantity.

For example, these two sentences means the same.

Ben has 2 more erasers than Charles.

Charles has 2 fewer erasers than Ben.

Some examples of non-standard units are paper clips, hand span,

ice-cream sticks, etc.

When we compare length of different objects, the objects must be

placed at the same starting points.
