LESSON PLAN N°15 Learning objectives -To distinguish healthy food vs unhealthy food - To incorporate healthy habits on their everyday lives. - To practice the four macro-skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing. Warm up – 10 minutes - The teacher will give students their badges with their names. -The teacher will begin the class checking the attendance and writing the date on the board. - The teacher will present some flashcards with healthy food and unhealthy food .She will ask them: Which food group is this? Do you like fats / vegetables/ fruits / cereals? Development Activity 1: The teacher will give students a copy with different pictures of healthy and unhealthy habits and they will have to draw a happy face for healthy habits and a sad face for the unhealthy habits. Type of interaction: teacher-student Macro skill: Reading & Writing Timing: 7 minutes Material: copies Activity 2: The teacher will give students a copy with different food items and they will have to color the foods that are healthy, cross the foods that are not healthy and circle what they like.

Activity 2: The teacher will give students a copy with different food items and they will have to color the foods that are healthy, cross the foods that are not healthy and circle what they like.

Activity 3: The teacher will distribute a copy with two different menus (one written by Anita’s mother, and the other one modified by Anita). Students will have to observe the menus, spot the healthier one, circle what is wrong and replace it.

- The teacher will pick up the badges and the activities done by the students so as to correct them.
