Objective By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to: - complete at least five sentences - write at least five simple sentences with correct spelling. Pictures of body parts:

Head, arm, leg

1. 1. Teacher pastes a picture of a head on the board.

2. 2. Teacher writes the names of every part on the head and asks the students to spell together.

3. 3. Teacher asks the students to show their own body parts.

4. 4. Teacher repeats steps 1 to 3 for two other pictures which are arm and leg.

Practice(20 minutes)

Jigsaw puzzle solving

1. Teacher divides the students to group of five.2. Teacher gives each group a jigsaw puzzle of body part to solve.3. Students are asked to solve it and paste on the board.4. Then, they are asked to write the body parts’ names below the pictures.5. Teacher checks the answers by asking the whole class.

Find Me If You Can

Sentences:Last school holidays, Fateh went to London. He met a new friend. Break the code to find out what does his friend looks like.

1. Read the sentences. 2. Students in groups solve the puzzle by decoding the numbers that represent the letters of the alphabet.3. The first group to decode the sentence is declared the winner.

Answers:Jamie has a pair of blue eyes, short blonde hair and fair skin.
