Technical information
• The sand dredged in Ancona harbor is an option for the beach nourishment of Palombina
• The quantity of sand for linear meter of coast: 200 m3 for a meter of beach
• The working technique is a refluent dredge off the breakwater defense
• The additional cost for harbor work consisting in pushing longshore the sand stocked on the seaside is equal to € 100.000,00.

Implementation
Palombina is a complex sandy landscape divided between two municipalities, with a strong private activity. At the higher level we needed to achieve a public & private network for the whole area.
Is it realistic?Yes, absolutely.
Why?All the actions are planned considering the environmental, social and economic impact.The keywords are “simplicity” and rationality.
