occasion should be treated as a once in a lifetime experience. Our mission is to create a unique and seamless celebration by incorporating the styles and personalities of our clients into every element of their perfect day. The Kits and Pieces began in 2016 featuring custom event décor for all types of occasions. Now in 2017, it is expanding to include wedding planning services. We hope to be able to guide you through every element of your special day. This is the day you’ve all been dreaming about for ages, and we can’t wait to help you make that dream come true. As a young and trendy company, we are up-to-date on the current styles, best vendors in the city, and the dos and don’ts of today’s weddings. We’d love to speak to you to see how the Kits and Pieces can best serve your needs for your wedding day. As a courtesy, we include a complimentary initial consultation, where we can meet you at one of the local coffee shops near you and discuss what you and yours hope to have on this special day. Upon arrival, we will bring sample ideas and packages that we feel may suit your needs and hopefully, as a team, we will be able to make those ideas a reality. We are thrilled you have chosen the Kits and Pieces to be a part of this personal moment in your lives. We look forward to being able to work with you and putting all the perfect pieces together. Sincerely, Cat Sornmayura The Kits and Pieces 786-325-1421 [email protected] www.thekitsandpieces.com

There is always a reason to celebrate. Since I was 12 years old, I have put together my own themed birthday and holiday parties. I would plan a month in advance and make everything from handmade invitations to gift bags for the guests. As time passed, it has become a norm for me to make every occasion a special occasion. From simply making a photo banner for a coworker's graduation to setting up a private beach anniversary picnic for my best friend, they are worth it! Though I've ventured

into many other fields, putting together parties has always been a passion of mine. With the hustle and bustle of living in the city, many people just don't have time to celebrate the everyday joyous occasions. On a grander scale, I want to make it easier for people to show their friends and loved ones how much they truly care. With my party kits, it is a one-stop shop for anyone who wants to set up a custom themed birthday party for their child to someone who just wants a small office package to congratulate a coworker on their promotion. In 2017, I began to include wedding planning services. Over the last couple of years, I have gained experience working with a catering company, particularly in staffing details, event logistics and food handling at more than 800 events a year. Currently, I am a Certified Wedding Planner and work as the Conference Services coordinator at the renowned and historical Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. Additionally, over the last two years I have worked as a Day-Of Coordinator for various planners around Miami, including a destination wedding in the Keys.

The Kits and Pieces as a whole will focus on both event decoration kits and weddings. In the wedding sector, I will focus mainly on Day-Of Coordination services, even though I will offer the option of full planning. Since there are multiple parts to this business, I would like to incorporate the party kits and the wedding and event coordination into one unit, either purchasing a kit automatically comes with the wedding/event service, and vice versa. I feel the best option is to focus on Day-Of/Month-Of Coordination as this will be a part-time opportunity for me. A unique product I am offering with my wedding planning services is my customized party kit. As I perfect these kits to truly create a customized experience for the client, tailoring the kits to any type of event they have, I will also be able to better customize each wedding to have a signature aspect unique to each couple. I will be targeting couples looking for a more intimate wedding, yet would need someone to assist in making sure the day went smoothly. I believe the level of customization I can offer in my kits and packages, in addition to my knowledge of the local event scene and latest event trends will allow me to stand out in this local market. In one year, I hope to have all my kits and packages solidified based on the experiences I encounter in my first year. I also strive to have a solid relationship with all the vendors I work with and a working list of clients who will give strong referrals to future clients. In five years, I hope to have a team of employees – coordinators, a production team and a sales crew to help The Kits and Pieces expand throughout South Florida. I also hope to further branch into destination weddings and sell my customized kits more prominently across the country. In ten years, I hope the Kits and Pieces is my main career and I have a solid foundation for this company striving in both the wedding and general event industries. The Kits and Pieces should be able to give back to the community, either by allocation of funds or donating items from their events.
