    From the Banner Pane - Navy (A):• Fussy cut (1) 22 ½” x 42 ½” rectangle, centered on the panel.

    From the Starlet - Lilac (B), cut:• (3) 3 ⅜” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (28) 3 ⅜” squares.• (2) 2” x 42 ½” WOF strips, piece as needed.• (2) 2” x 25 ½” WOF strips. • (4) 2” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2” x 70 ½” strips.• (3) 2” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 2” x 53 ½” strips.

    From the Starry Sky - Navy (C), cut:• (3) 3 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 3 ½” x 44 ½” strips.• (2) 3 ½” x 30 ½” WOF strips. From the Blocks - Cyan (D):• Fussy cut (6) 8 ½” squares, each centered on a block.

    From the Starlet - Navy (J), cut:• (8) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding.

    From the Foliage with Firefly - Navy (Backing), cut:• (2) 91” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 71” x 91” back.

    1. Sew (1) 2” x 42 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of the 22 ½” x 42 ½” Fabric A panel. Sew (1) 2” x 25 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A panel to make the Center Block (Fig. 1). Trim the block to measure 24 ½” x 44 ½”.

    2. Sew (1) 2” x 8 ½” Fabric E strip to each side of (1) 8 ½” Fabric D square. Sew (1) 2” x 11 ½” Fabric E strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric D square to make (1) Block One square (Fig. 2). Trim the block to measure 10 ½” x 10 ½”. Repeat to make (6) Block One squares total.

    Quilt Top Assembly (Follow the Quilt Layout while assembling the quilt top.)9. Sew (1) 3 ½” x 44 ½” Fabric C strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 3 ½” x 30 ½” Fabric C strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

    10. Sew together (1) Block Three square, (1) Block Two square, (1) Block One square, (1) Block Two square and (1) Block Three square, in that order from top to bottom, to make (1) Side Border. Repeat to make a second Side Border. Sew (1) Side Border to each side of the Center Block.

    11. Sew together (1) Block One square, (1) Block Two square, (1) Block Three square, (1) Block Two square and (1) Block One square, in that order from left to right, to make the Top Border. Repeat to make the Bottom Border. Sew the Top Border and Bottom Border to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

    12. Sew (1) 2” x 70 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 2” x 58 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.

    3. Place (1) 3 ⅜” Fabric E square on top of (1) 3 ⅜”Fabric B square, right sides together. Draw a line across the diagonal of the top square (Fig. 3). Sew ¼” away from each side of the drawn diagonal line (Fig. 1). Cut the (2) squares apart on the drawn diagonal line (Fig. 4) to make (2) half-square triangles. Trim the half-square triangles to measure 3” square to make (2) Unit 1 squares (Fig. 5). Repeat to make (56) Unit 1 squares total.

    4. Place (1) 3” Fabric G square on the left side of (1) 3” x 5 ½” Fabric K strip, right sides together (Fig. 6). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 6). Flip open the triangle formed and press. Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼” seam allowance (Fig. 7).

    5. Place another 3” Fabric G square on the right side of the 3” x 5 ½” Fabric K strip, right sides together (Fig. 8). Sew across the diagonal of the square from the upper left corner to the lower right corner (Fig. 8). Flip open the triangle formed and press. Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle, leaving a ¼” seam allowance to make (1) Unit 2 strip (Fig. 9).

    6. Repeat Steps 4-5 to make (56) Unit 2 strips total.

    7. Sew (1) Unit 1 square to each end of (1) Unit 2 strip to make the top row. Repeat to make the bottom row. Sew (1) Unit 2 strip to each side of (1) 5 ½” Fabric F square to make the middle row. Sew the (3) rows together to make (1) Block Two square (Fig. 10). Repeat to make (8) Block Two squares total.

    8. Sew (1) Unit 1 square to each end of (1) Unit 2 strip to make the top row. Repeat to make the bottom row. Sew (1) Unit 2 strip to each side of (1) 5 ½” Fabric H square to make the middle row. Sew the (3) rows together to make (1) Block Three square (Fig. 11). Repeat to make (6) Block Three squares total.

    13. Sew (1) 5 ½” x 73 ½” Fabric I strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 5 ½” x 63 ½” Fabric I strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top.

    14. Layer and quilt as desired.

    15. Sew the (8) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric J strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

    16. Bind as desired.
