Last week the Ohio Department of Medicaid erroneouslysent 4200 Ohio Medicaid providers a letter stating that they hadbeen terminated andor excluded from Ohio Medicaid Theseletters are to be disregarded in full

The letters sent on March 18 were sent due to a system errorThe system issue has been resolved and all affected providershave been restored to an ldquoactiverdquo status

The Ohio Department of Medicaid says that its initial review ofthe incident suggests that the list of 4200 providers that receivedthe erroneous letter was entirely random

Medicaid erroneous letter sentto 4200 providers

This is an alert from our attorneys

Last week the Ohio Department of Medicaid erroneouslysent 4200 Ohio Medicaid providers a letter stating that they hadbeen terminated andor excluded from Ohio Medicaid Theseletters are to be disregarded in full

The letters sent on March 18 were sent due to a system errorThe system issue has been resolved and all affected providershave been restored to an ldquoactiverdquo status

The Ohio Department of Medicaid says that its initial review ofthe incident suggests that the list of 4200 providers that receivedthe erroneous letter was entirely random
