My answer is that it depends on what you put into your home. I have currently homes under construction ranging in price from $70/sq. ft. to $125/sq.ft. This should give you a price range of what a new home could cost. Please keep in mind that just changing a kitchen counter top from Formica to granite could change the price of your home by $5,000.
