LEVITATE 130 ADVANTAGES Simat, with LEVITATE patent, has combined perfectly together the benefits of working from coil (i.e. “planetaria”) and those arising from the working with mandrel, that is absolute necessary to obtain the tight radius for pipes having diameter larger than 22 mm. With LEVITATE 130 the whole working process is essential and, in the meanwhile, very versatile. Some working phases are no more necessary, such as cutting the rods into chunks, the pipes insertion in the bending machine, the handling of semi-finished products and machine setting. These intermediate operations involving the use of labour (or automation costs) and the creation, even if reduced, of a warehouse. Not least is the absence of scraps, waste of working process due to the cutting into chunks and to the limits of the actual pipe bending machineries with mandrel. With this innovating process it is possible to obtain important developments and tight bending radius using large pipes, a solution that was impossible until today. This gives the possibility to the designers of this field, for example refrigeration, automotive, a.s.o., to industrialize products at low prices, creating a certain advantage in their market. For that reason Simat is designing a machine which could create serpentines by using pipes having diameter until 30mm and an average bending radius even equal to the pipe diameter. At this point, the sector designers have the task to study and create new products, innovative and cheaper, by using this productive revolutionary chance. We think that once again Simat has been able to suggest the customers some important opportunities, both for their development and for their competitiveness, in a market which is even more selective. With LEVITATE 130 you load the coil on the reel, insert the pipe into the machine and bend.
