Task Analysis: Access and Post in Discussion on Student eClassI chose to complete my task analysis using the procedural analysis to explain the process. The procedural analysis provides sequential list of steps. I felt that this would be best to help the learner complete the activity.

Task Outline:

1.0 Access eClass account

1.1 Log in to the eClass account

1.2 Click on eClass course pages

1.3 Click on the appropriate class ( Junior American Lit. S2)

1.4 Click on Content

1.5 Click on Discussion

2.0 Open Discussion

2.1 Click on the appropriately labeled discussion question2.2 Read the discussion questions

2.3 View other helpful links associated with the discussion questions

2.4 When you are ready to answer, click on start new thread.

2.5 Label the subject your last name and title of discussion

2.6 Write the answer to your discussion question.

2.7 Check for grammar mistakes

2.8 Press Publish

2.9 Click home to return to the starting page

3Sign in to your eClass account

As you can see you must use your ID number to access the account and the log in box is in the middle of the screen.

4Click on the class

This is the eClass home screen. Click on the class by clicking the drop down bar next to the second link on the left labeled Meadowcreek High.

5Now that you have logged in; click on the discussion tab

6Open the correctly labeled discussion tab.

7Click on start new thread and name the thread your last name and the topic.

8Review any related links in the module to assist with answering the question.

9Optional: transition to an end slideType your response to the discussion question. Press Publish
