Upon the recommendation of the Honourable the Acting Minister of Municipal Affairs, the Lieutenant Governor in Council, pursuant to section 21 of the Municipal Government Act, and section 6 of the County Act, approves the Local Authorities Board Order No. 20110 dated January 13, 1992 annexing to the Town of Athabasca certain territory, effective December 31, 1991, pursuant to the petition by the Council of the Town of Athabasca.

IN THE MATTER OF THE “Municipal Government Act’’

AND IN THE MATTER OF THE “County Act”

AND IN THE MATTER OF an application by the Council of the Town of Athabasca, in the Province of Alberta, to annex certain territory lying immediately adjacent thereto and thereby its separation from the County of Athabasca No. 12.

Pursuant to an application by the Town of Athabasca, in the Province of Alberta, requesting the annexation of certain lands which lie immediately adjacent to the existing boundaries, the Board has considered the subject application which is for an extension of an existing subdivision located immediately to the west and within the Town.
