• We realised that if there wasA blizzard, the only sense youWould have is feel because if you were in a

blizzard then you could not use your hearing, because the storm and wind would be too loud. You would not be able to use your smell because the wind would blow it away.

Camouflage

In the afternoon we got to eat smarties until our tummies burst ! The reason for this was to show how penguins adapt to there environment by camouflaging so there pray cant find them. We did this by putting green and different coloured smarties on a green board to see if we would find the green smarties but not many people did.

Facts about Penguins

• Did you know that there are lots of different types of penguins.

• The penguins are very well adapted to there habitat. By having blubber to keep them warm, and the colour of their skin is the same shade of their environment.

• Penguins are very stream lined because the wings are suited to their habitat.
