2012 Established the “Estrogen Research Network” to bring together interested investigators across Tulane campuses and citywide and was awarded $2500 from the Provost for the “Estrogen Signaling: Integrating Uptown with Downtown” lecture series.

2015 Created an annual lectureship on National Wear Red Day® to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease in women featuring a nationally renowned female speaker.

2015 Established “Pharmacology in Progress” - a monthly meeting for our department’s faculty and trainees to present and discuss their research.

2016 Established the “Junior Faculty Club” - a quarterly event for junior faculty at

Tulane to build rapport and collaborations. 2016 As the only Tulane School of Medicine faculty member in the Inaugural

Campus Climate Task Force and Harassment by Faculty subcommittee, authored an amendment to the faculty senate constitution to establish a university-wide committee to hear EO grievances against faculty and establish a framework for faculty sanctions.
