32 The RIDI LINIA luminaire family VL continuous lighting system: This continuous lighting system comes in two basic versions: • VLF, batten for single mounting • VL/VLS, continuous lighting system for predominantly continuous mounting, single mounting possible The following features are characteristic of both versions: Batten VLF: This product series features a slimline luminaire body and a ceiling plate, making it ideally suited for direct ceiling and wall mounting as well as mounting as a single luminaire. Pendant mounting is possible using ac- cessories. By in-row ceiling or wall mounting of several luminaires, continuous lighting systems can be created. The version VLF is only available with protection class IP 20. Continuous lighting system VL/VLS: This product series comes with trunking (VLT) in a 1-3 lamp length version featuring open through wiring with flexible take-off, and a gear tray (VLG/VLSG), which is electrically and mechanically connected to the trunking by means of a patented adapter system. This luminaire system is ideally suited for the creation of modular and continuous lighting systems, also over long lengths. It is characterized by a simple quick-mounting system which cuts down on the time re- quired for installation. The special features of this system are the through wiring with facility for variable take-off at any optional position, and the fact that trunking VLT can be optionally used in combination with gear tray VLG to create a continuous lighting system complying with protection class IP 20, or in combina- tion with gear tray VLGS… and seals (VLTVD) at the trunking joint to create a system complying with IP 54. The luminaire colours: Luminaire version VLF is available as standard in white, while the VL/VLS version can be supplied in the standard colours white and silver. Fixing accessories: While the VLF battens are mounted using standard commercially available fixing materials directly on fixing surfaces, and the LINIA DECO fixing kits are required for pendant mounting, for the VL continuous lighting system, system-specific fixing material is required both for pendant fixing and also direct mounting on fixing surfaces. VL continuous lighting system: This continuous lighting system comes in two basic versions: • VLF, batten for single mounting • VL/VLS, continuous lighting system for predominantly continuous mounting, single mounting possible The following features are characteristic of both versions:

Batten VLF: This product series features a slimline luminaire body and a ceiling plate, making it ideally suited for directceiling and wall mounting as well as mounting as a single luminaire. Pendant mounting is possible using ac-cessories. By in-row ceiling or wall mounting of several luminaires, continuous lighting systems can becreated. The version VLF is only available with protection class IP 20.

Continuous lighting system VL/VLS: This product series comes with trunking (VLT) in a 1-3 lamp length version featuring open through wiringwith flexible take-off, and a gear tray (VLG/VLSG), which is electrically and mechanically connected to thetrunking by means of a patented adapter system. This luminaire system is ideally suited for the creation of modular and continuous lighting systems, alsoover long lengths. It is characterized by a simple quick-mounting system which cuts down on the time re-quired for installation. The special features of this system are the through wiring with facility for variabletake-off at any optional position, and the fact that trunking VLT can be optionally used in combination withgear tray VLG to create a continuous lighting system complying with protection class IP 20, or in combina-tion with gear tray VLGS… and seals (VLTVD) at the trunking joint to create a system complying with IP 54.

The luminaire colours: Luminaire version VLF is available as standard in white, while the VL/VLS version can be supplied in thestandard colours white and silver.

Fixing accessories:While the VLF battens are mounted using standard commercially available fixing materials directly on fixingsurfaces, and the LINIA DECO fixing kits are required for pendant mounting, for the VL continuous lightingsystem, system-specific fixing material is required both for pendant fixing and also direct mounting on fixingsurfaces. Design: Rigid steel profiled luminaire housing made of sheet steel, coated white on both sides. End pieces in plas-tic complete with knock-outs for through wiring inside or outside of the luminaire. Profiled ceiling plate with an in-dented channel on the ceiling side for through wiring external to the luminaire, max. 3 x 1.5 mm² / diameter 8 mm.With magnetic ballasts (VVG) / electronic ballasts (EVG), 220 - 240 V, 50-60 Hz

Mounting: Simple, low-cost single-handed mounting of the luminaire ceiling plate using screws or similar (not in-cluded) through the keyhole-shaped hole in the plate. For pendant mounting, the LINIA DECO fixing kits can beused.The battens of the series VLF can be fitted with a large selection of reflectors, mirror reflectors and louvres.

Note: Luminaires with MM symbol and EVG are suitable for furniture mounting. Models without an index and mod-els with magnetic ballasts are not suitable.Internal through wiring can be prefitted on request.

Gear tray with movement sensor. Colour coding blue for mounting in VLT-5, VLT-7 or VLT-11.Movement sensor directly activates the gear, so that no additional control cables are required. Each gear trayworks independently. After the last detected movement, the lighting level remains at 100% for the run-on period of 5 minutes. After-wards it is dimmed to 10%. After a further 17 seconds, the lamp is switched off. The number of switching cyclesdoes not influence the service life of the lamp. Maximum mounting height 5 m. Other movement sensors with dif-ferent mounting heights can be supplied on request. Other run-on times can be pre-programmed ory on request.
