About Mark Lowham
Mark joined TTR Sotheby's InternaEonal Realty in January, 2011 as Managing Partner, building further on a disEnguished career as a widely recognized leader in the Washington real estate community. Prior to joining the firm, Mark served as ExecuEve Vice President at WEST*GROUP, one of the region's leading commercial real estate development firms. Mark is focused on corporate management, long-‐term strategic planning, business development, and the culEvaEon of enhanced resources to conEnue to expand the unique relaEonships, experEse and services which TTR Sotheby's InternaEonal Realty offers to its clients. Mark is also commi[ed to insuring that the firm, its partners and associates are fully engaged in the Washington communiEes in which the firm is acEve. Mark serves in prominent leadership roles in a number of educaEonal and non-‐profit organizaEons in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Mark currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for The Potomac School in McLean, Virginia and the Board of Trustees of The Wolf Trap FoundaEon. Appointed by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors in 2010, Mark also serves as a Commissioner of the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority. Mark is a long-‐standing supporter of a number of regional charitable organizaEons. He currently serves as Chairman of INOVA's Life with Cancer Program, and he is a member of the ExecuEve Commi[ee of CharityWorks. Mark also serves on the ExecuEve Commi[ee of the Joan Hisaoka Make A Difference Gala, and he is an Honorary Trustee of the McLean Community FoundaEon. Mark was appointed by Governor Tim Kaine to serve as a member of the Board of Visitors of George Mason University where he chaired the Real Estate Commi[ee from 2010-‐2011. For 2014, Mark is serving as Chairman of the Signature Chefs AucEon and Gala to Benefit March of Dimes to be held November 13th at The Ritz Carlton in Washington, DC. Mark is also serving once again as Co-‐Chairman of the CharityWorks Dream Ball which will be held October 5th at The NaEonal Building Museum to benefit Teach for America, the Don Bosco School, and T.A.P.S. Lowham is a naEve of Wyoming and prior to joining WEST*GROUP, he worked in the Corporate Finance Department of Kidder, Peabody & Company in New York. He earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Stanford University and a Masters in Business AdministraEon from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

SIGNIFICANT SALES
In 2013 and 2014, TTR Sotheby’s International Realty continued to set new sales records and expand in the Washington metropolitan area.
In 2014, we conducted the sale of the most expensive real estate transaction in the Washington, DC region.
In 2014, we represented the sale of the historic River View Estate, once part of George Washington’s original Mount Vernon estate.
In 2013, we represented the most expensive home sold in the region as well as the highest priced condominium sale in DC.
We are proud to represent the historically signi!cant properties of our nation’s capital and delight in showcasing their unique stories.
Signi!cant Sales & Growth
District of Columbia
Our most signi!cant sale as of June 2014 was the historic Patterson Mansion on DuPont Circle – the highest priced sale in 2014 for the Washington Metropolitan region – for $20 million.
In 2013 and 2014, TTR Sotheby’s International Realty proudly represented the most expensive sales of co-operatives and condominiums in Washington, DC.
Signi!cantly, we topped local neighborhoods with the highest price sales in Downtown, Cleveland Park and Massachusetts Avenue Heights.
Our sales in the District of Columbia grew 23%, versus 12% for our closest luxury competitor.
We maintain a commanding 80% market share of all Washington, DC condominiums sold over $3 million.
Virginia
Our most signi!cant sale as of June 2014 and the highest priced sale in Northern Virginia was the historic River View estate – once belonging to President George Washington in Alexandria, Virginia for $18.6 million.
In 2013, sales in Northern Virginia grew 57%, versus 8% for our closest competitor in the luxury market, and we had the highest home sales in McLean and Great Falls.
Our sales in Virginia exceeded $500M, 65% higher than our closest luxury competitor.
In September 2013, we opened our !fth o"ce in Old Town, Alexandria, welcoming nearly 30 outstanding associates.

Our 2014 sale of an important Severna Park estate for $6.75 million is the highest sale in recent years in Anne Arundel County.
Our Maryland brokerage o! ce grew its annual sales by 34% in 2013.
