Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs) are a serious problem with an estimated 1.7 million HAIs occurring every year, resulting in an estimated 99,000 deaths in the US 1

HAIs are the most common complication of hospital care and are one of the top 10 leading causes of death in the US 2

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Guidelines recommend surface sanitation and hand washing as two of the most important environmental controls to reduce HAIs 3

Until now, traditional disinfectant technologies have not kept pace with customer needs for effi cacy, safety and sustainability

It is easy to develop a disinfectant that has effi cacy against common pathogens; however, it is diffi cult to develop one that won’t be harmful to users, surfaces or the environment in which it is applied. AHP is a new technology that combines hydrogen peroxide with a blend of surfactants and chelants to achieve the perfect balance of effi cacy, safety and sustainability.

Oxivir® disinfectant cleaners, powered by AHP, rewrite the rules in disinfection by delivering broad effi cacy, realistic contact times and superior cleaning with formulations that also have excellent user and surface compatability profi les and a sustainable active ingredient. Specifi cally, Oxivir® disinfectant cleaners have at use dilution HMIS ratings of 0-0-0 so they can be used as directed without the need for personal protective equipment (PPE), alleviating safety concerns associated with competitive disinfectant technologies.

AHP is also a proven technology with numerous third-party published studies/articles and a strong history of effi cacy, safety and acceptance in healthcare, hospitality, education and other adjacent markets.

Effi cacy Broad Spectrum Pathogen Kill

Oxivir® disinfectant cleaners, powered by AHP, kill a broad range of organisms associated with HAIs including Norovirus, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and multi-drug resistant organisms such as MRSA and VRE.1 Oxivir® disinfectant cleaners also meet US OSHA and Health Canada blood-borne pathogen standards for decontaminating blood and body fl uids.*

Realistic Contact Times

Oxivir® Tb (Ready to Use Spray) and Oxivir® Tb Wipes 2 disinfect against most common HAI-causing pathogens on hard, non-porous surfaces in just 60 seconds

Oxivir® Five 16 Concentrate 2 disinfects against most common HAI-causing pathogens on hard, non-porous surfaces in 5 minutes, HALF the contact time of some dilutable disinfectants

Superior Cleaning Performance

Oxivir® disinfectant cleaners clean better than traditional disinfectants

Patented AHP technology contains a high-performance surfactant system that delivers better cleaning results

Thorough soil removal allows for eff ective one-step disinfection

Exceptional cleaning properties even in the presence of dried organics and inorganics due to the oxidizing eff ect of hydrogen peroxide and the synergy of the ingredients in the formula
