It all started with a parent’s handwritten note, hastily pinned to a nursery notice board, asking if anybody had accidentally taken home the wrong scooter. The missing scooter was blue and orange, with red elastic bands around the T-bar, the note said. The trouble was that this description applied to 95% of the scooters on the pavements at that time. Scootrix was developed to offer children a way to personalise their own scooters, cleverly combining two global trends: scooters and personalised products.Scootrix has been developed to include personalised Scootrix Plates, Mini-Bags and Bottle Bags that attach to handlebars, Sticker Packs, Wheel Stickers, Lights and Noise Makers, which feature four child-friendly sound effects.
