Literacy Coaching

• Research shows that one of the best ways of improving the teaching of literacy is through coaching.

• Responsibility for literacy within schools is cross-curricular. Therefore literacy coaching is not just for English teachers!

• Why do you think it’s better if the coach comes from within the context?

and TAILORED TO THE COACHEE’S NEEDS…
