Today’s rigorous standards challenge schools to prepare all students for the demands of 21st century college and careers. But some students struggle to reach grade level and perform well on high-stakes tests. Regardless of the reason, Direct Instruction (DI) programs are extensively tested and proven to ensure these students meet or surpass grade-level expectations in reading, language arts, and math. Direct Instruction gives schools a clear path to achieving annual progress toward universal reading and math proficiency.

Proof. Performance. Progress.

ProofDI delivers evidence-based results.

PerformanceDI raises teacher effectiveness as well as student achievement.

ProgressDI ensures that schools meet academic goals.

Prevent failure, promote literacy, and promise success.

Designed to work comfortably with your core early reading program or for Tier II interventions, SRA Early Interventions in Reading provides the significant increase in the intensity of instruction that low-level readers need to meet grade-level expectations. This program helps you identify struggling readers and provide them with lessons that build mastery of essential skills through explicit, systematic instruction in five critical strands: phonemic awareness; letter-sound correspondences; word recognition and spelling; fluency; and comprehension.

Build Spanish early literacy skills

The integrated curriculum of Intervenciones tempranas de la lectura provides an efficient framework for reading instruction. Rather than teaching skills in isolation, one by one, this program covers multiple strands in unison on a daily basis, each one tightly sequenced with the text. This design makes the program both more relevant and more effective.
