THE PEOPLE’S FESTIVAL
2
“It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to the inaugural Liverpool Loves festival.”Joshua Boyd - Festival Director and Managing Director, Orb CIC
This annual celebration was borne from our love of the Liverpool region. A region that is steeped in history but not defined by it, a brave and bold people full of character, honesty, humility and personality. A city that has surpassed all expectations to become one of the most dynamic and forward-thinking around.
It’s a beautiful place to live, work, do business, explore unique cultures, visit for the weekend or stay for the rest of your life.
So on that note – we wanted to create a series of events that knits all of these amazing things together
to really showcase what we have to offer here and to represent the new identity of our great city region.Liverpool Loves serves to champion arts and culture organisations as well as our fantastic independent businesses. It serves to employ locally, give work to local companies and support the visitor economy.
It’s a platform for anyone and everyone to get involved and get behind their city. We want you to welcome this festival, embrace it and make it your own. A special thanks to the amazing people and organisations that have funded, partnered or contributed to this event, it couldn’t have happened without you.
We all Love Liverpool, but what does Liverpool Love?. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
It’s ‘The People’s Festival’ – created
with nothing but Love.

We all love our food but judging by the fantastic range of independent bars, restaurants and producers popping up around the city - the love affair seems to be blooming more than ever.
To keep visitors fuelled for the day, there’ll be some brilliant indie street food specialists, cocktail sellers and the best local craft beer that money can buy.
We’ve got everything from vegan food to cuisine from around the world. Whether you want gluten free or the best hot dogs around - we’ve got it covered!

Love Liverpool - Liverpool Loves You!
At Orb CIC we recognise that running our business and creating fantastic projects like Liverpool Loves have an impact on the environment and on society. Therefore, we are committed to behaving responsibly, minimising the impact on our environment and improving and maintaining the quality of our public spaces and local communities for ourselves, our children and generations to come.
We need your help to achieve this!
Please make sure that you use festival bins, recycling bins and street bins both on and off the festival site for all rubbish and waste. Do not bring alcohol or glass on site. The Pier Head is the crowning glory of our city - so let’s keep it clean!
Please travel to the event by using public transport, on foot or by bicycle where possible. We realise that you can’t always do this, so if you’re driving, why not give somebody a lift to make sure that you save on petrol and parking.
