The Qatari people still maintain this tradition in all their ewnts. In the Childhood Cultural Center. as an entity concerned \\ith children. the valu.: of identity is considered one of the basic Yalues in the center which aims to establi sh national. -Poetry l'vlajilis: It is held in the Committee of Poet Affairs where Qatari poets and those interested in poetry get together on a regular basis in poetry soirees to recite poems. exchang~ ideas and discu~~ poetry related matters in general.

- I Iunter Society Maj ili s: lt is held for Qatari falconers and hunters who get together to hoid t~tlconry contests. exchange ideas and discuss the means to de\ clop this sport \'..hich is considered part of the popular heritage. Coffee is also the main dement in such gatherings as a symbol or Qatari gent:rosity and hospitality.

- \1ajilis ~)fQatari P lasti~.: Arts Society: Qatari plastic artists meet togethef on a daily basis so that they can discuss the lates t <.le' clopments in the tidd of pl~stic arts in general and the de'.'Ciopment of plastic art in Qatar in particular. They also di scuss the bt'St ,,-ays to develop Qatari art ists through holding exhibitions and artistic workshops.

- f Ialal Qatar h~stintl: It is an annual fe~tiYal ,,-here the Qatari Majilis is held.
