By Sheriff Pat Sears June 28 •Sheriff Sears and Deputy Killpack responded to a report of a mental scrapper stuck on Quinlin Place. Upon arrival, two subjects were located and checked out. The owner of the scrap was located and called and advised of the situation. No charges were filed. June 29 •Deputy Klutts answered several questions in regards to child custody issues in Little Sioux. •Deputy Killpack is investigating criminal mischief to a pop machine in Little Sioux. •Deputy Klutts responded to a domestic assault on Ross Trail. Laura Kelly and Justin Kelly, both Woodbine, were arrested and transported to jail. Both subjects were charged with domestic assault. June 30 •Deputy Denton and Deputy Klutts responded to a domestic situation in Little Sioux. Ashley Rodenburg, Little Sioux, was arrested and transported to jail. Rodenburg was charged with domestic assault. •Deputy Klutts took a traffic complaint that occurred on Highway 30 north of Logan. No charges were filed. •Deputy Klutts investigated damage done to a cornfield on Laredo Avenue. The damage was done as a result of a vehicle that went in the ditch. The owner of the vehicle was located and advised that they were responsible for damages. •Deputy Doiel responded to a residential alarm on Hillside Avenue. The alarm had been set off accidentally by the property owner. •Deputy Doiel went to Little Sioux to assist with a property exchange. •Deputy Doiel checked on a subject that had been sleeping in the park in Little Sioux. The subject was checked out and an arrest warrant found through Monona County. Cody Conyers was transported to the county line and turned over to Monona County. •A total of 37 inmates were booked into jail in the month of June- - 28 males and nine females. July 1 •Deputy Klutts is investigating damage done to a vehicle while parked on Light Breeze Lane. A suspect has been identified. July 2 •Deputy Doiel is investigating the reported theft of items stolen from a vehicle in Persia. •Any criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
