The project life cycle is divided into iterations. Each iteration comprised of new development and working on testing issues from the previous iteration.

Face-to-face communication thru WebEx is preferred to written documentation.

A global delivery model is implemented with part of the team directly working with client at their site.

Mutual trust and respect to opinions between the developers and the client is present.

A dedicated coordinator is responsible to coordinate the communication from client and share it with the offshore team members.

Work optimization is done by sharing the work load between shores; giving 24/7 development environment for critical development phases.

After every iteration, there is a code update to the Test server to be verified and approved by the client. This goal oriented approach significantly helped with improving the quality of deliverables.

A weekly status report showing exact percentage completion, start date and expected completion date is shared with all stake holders. This helped with effort and schedule variance predictions and necessary corrections.
