Forrest Gump opening title sequence has there logo up before the scene takes place. Little instrumental into a full Orchester. Large mountain with plenty of stars looking like a big budget film. Very Hollywood looking.

The girl with the dragon tattoo. Before credit roll they show the logo and then the company name. Imbedded with silence then music after. Subtle approach.

In most films, the logo appears well before the title sequence as the logo is more of a stated label than a credit. Because of this I don’t feel the need to create an outlandish logo as it serves little purpose to the title sequence and I would much prefer to focus on the film sequence than unnecessary logos. Saying that, I still need to create appropriate logos as they will be important from a production stand point. A logo give a company/production an identity.
