The small, ancient City of London was historically the entirety of the city.

Londoners generally refer to the City of London simply as "the City" or the "Square Mile".

The Millennium Bridge is a steel suspension bridge for pedestrians crossing the River Thames in London.

The southern end of the bridge is near Globe Theatre and Tate Modern. The north end is next to St Paul's Cathedral.

The nearest London Underground station is Mansion House.

The Millennium Bridge is featured in the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince film adaptation, in which several of Lord Voldemort's Death Eaters destroy the bridge
