The National Gallery.With more than 2,000

artworks dating back to the 13th century, this

world-leading art gallery is home to masterpieces by

Titian and others, Monet’s “water-lilies” and Van

Gogh’s “sunflowers

residence. In the summer the State Rooms are open to visitors and it’s possible to get a sense of the pomp and ceremony of modern-

day monarchy. The queen’s gallery is open all

year, including paintings by Rubens and Rembrandt. You can also visit the Royal

Mews and see the carriages and horses used

in State occasions.

Houses of ParliamentParliament first met at a

palace on this place in 1295, and the current neo-

gothic 1860 landmark is instantly impressive.

Visitors are welcome at the House of Commons and House of Lords debates,

and there are many guided tours

can even see if the curtains are open or closed at Buckingham Palace!

Saint Paul’s CathedralThere has been a cathedral

on this site since 604 AD, but the one we can see

nowadays was designed by Sir Cristopher Wren to

reolace the ruins of the medieval cathedral

destroyed in the 1666 Great Fire of London. In the Crypt you’ll find the tombs of Admiral Lord Nelson and

the Duke of Wellington.

Madame TussaudsSee over 300 figures made of

wax, cast with incredible accuracy. Among the wax

statues you can spot famous faces from the

Queen, William and Kate, to Lady Gaga and Cristiano

Ronaldo.
