This area has become one of London’s gallery hot spots. World-renowned contemporary art galleries have taken up residence, bringing a diverse range of stunning and innovative spaces to the neighbourhood.
R E B E C C A H O S S A C KInternational art dealer and gallerist Rebecca Hossack was an early pioneer and champion of the area. She opened her first gallery on W1’s Windmill Street following her arrival from Melbourne in 1988. Attracted to what she recognised as Fitzrovia’s ‘antipodean atmosphere’, Rebecca has since made this part of town a base for her activities, opening two further gallery sites and even setting up home nearby.
